Ethos Private Equity Investor Relations
Ethos is currently investing our fifth fund, which had total commitments of R5,5 billion and drew support from global investors, the majority of which are from North America and Europe, and also included a significant representation of South African investors.
The majority of Ethos’ investors (known as ‘limited partners’) are leading pension and retirement funds, insurance companies, financial institutions, and development financial institutions (DFIs). The ultimate beneficiaries of Ethos Fund V’ realized investments, via these LPs are more than 30 million policyholders and over 5 million pensioners.
At Ethos, we never lose sight of the fact that we are managing other people’s money, and consistently strive to achieve the best long-term risk adjusted returns through the growth of the investments we have made on their behalf.
Ethos has a proven track record of generating superior returns for its investors and strongly believes that our competitive positioning in South Africa enables our investors to expose their asset allocation to South Africa’s private equity environment, thereby taking advantage of the unique combination of first world institutions and emerging market growth characteristics our country presents.
