ETHOS GETS A NEW CHAIRMAN

Ethos Private Equity has appointed former banker Peter Mageza as non-executive chairman, replacing  Fred Phaswana.  Mr Mageza was group operating officer of Absa until the end of last year after nine years with the bank.  His directorships include Bidvest, Remgro and Sappi (SA).  Mr Phaswana left to become chairman of Standard Bank in November.
