André Roux is the founding partner of Ethos, having established the business in 1984. As chief executive, he has overall responsibility for the company's strategic, operating and investment activities.
He is regarded as a pioneer in the South African private equity industry, and has over 25 years experience in investment banking. He has lectured extensively on private equity at business schools, is regularly featured as a speaker at industry conferences and has participated in numerous industry-related symposia.
Ethos Private Equity is one of EMPEA's founding Charter Members and André has sat on the Board since inception in 2005.
